My Story

I am a genuine, down to earth and caring person with a passion about my role as a therapist, I believe change is possible. Through my own life journey of experiences and with support from others I have realised that change is possible, empowering self, building self-esteem, confidence and believing in you, anything is possible. Counselling is a place where you can build trust and explore honestly with yourself first and another person (therapist) without judgment, the issues that are affecting your quality of life. Attending counselling myself and experiencing the benefits from counselling I have learnt how beneficial counselling can be and continued my journey to study and become a counsellor. Counselling empowered me to believe in myself which strengthened my self-esteem and confidence, this is why I believe change is possible and I am passionate. Life can be a struggle at times and our Mind, body and soul are the tools that are used to get us through these struggles, it is important that we take care of ourselves such as eat well, exercise, rest & talk about issues that are affecting our lives. You may see talking to a therapist as a weakness, this is not true, it is strength to be able to do this and takes courage to explore your emotions and allow yourself to work through these issues, let go, and move on. We would not expect the car to run without petrol, so why do we expect ourselves to live without self-care? Taking care of ourselves IS IMPORTANT. We learn from childhood to put others before ourselves, it is NOT selfish to put yourself first and take care of yourself. If you’re ok everything else falls into place and you feel happier, which makes others happier around you.

Law of attraction = what we put out, we get back. You are reading this because you are considering counselling. I am the therapist for you because I believe if you are struggling with something that is affecting your quality of life, I believe in you and that you can take a risk and push through the fear, what have you got to loose speak soon. I look forward to hearing from you until then look after yourselves life is short and you’re important.
